Building a better future.
Together.

Solve your problems with mind-opening, transformational processes you haven’t even imagined. Yet.

I’m on a mission to revolutionize problem-solving processes.

Feeling stuck? Want to be more mission-driven and creative in your community, company, or policies? Need to better anticipate and prepare for future risks and unknowns? By using participatory processes that maximize engagement, creativity and meaningful connection, I create resilient, real-world solutions to your biggest problems.

If we want to build better products, policies, communities, and organizations, we must shift away from the old, top-down strategies. Participatory and regenerative design strategies are based on the idea that how we design can be as transformative as what we design.

Inviting end users to be active participants in the process yields the most lasting, impactful, and emergent outcomes. When we integrate the needs of a community with lessons of abundance and growth drawn from nature, problems become opportunities and challenges yield potential.

“Ilana is a multi-talented connector with an ability to create community in any undertaking, seamlessly working across sectors, neighborhoods, countries, and time horizons. She’s uniquely talented at facilitating and fostering collaboration, surfacing the interests and assets of varied stakeholders and melding them into a product everyone feels good about. Very few people can unify and deliver results in the way Ilana does”
